THE PROCESS OF CARPET RECYCLING.
1. Collection:
Used carpets are collected by our team from events, conferences, and exhibitions.
2. Cleaning:
After collection, carpets will go through a cleaning process to remove contaminants such as sand, tape and wood chips. This step is crucial to maintain the quality of the recycled material.
3. Shredding:
Carpets are then shredded into smaller pieces and fed to the extruder.
4. Reprocessing and Pelletisation:
Shredded carpet is melted and pelletised. These pellets are used to make useful items like chairs.
